I would recommend them to just about anyone who asked for a good local home and car insurer. One minor note: We had State Farm here in Chattanooga for years before moving to the Denver area and transferring to there. We were happily surprised when we did transfer to a State Farm office because everything was so seamless, and then we were surprised again when we automatically started getting texts about our insurance being due, it being paid, and so on. And at times when we forgot, we always got a friendly call well before the policy was soon up to be cancelled if we forgot. It's our responsibility yes, no problem there, but as busy as we are and it being a bit impractical to set insurance premiums on auto pay for us, it was just very very nice to know we never had to worry if we forgot and then went out of town or whatever popped up. I do know the office we used in Colorado managed shockingly high numbers of policies, and the staff at our local office was the smallest I've ever seen run one. Things here in Chattanooga businesses offices (with many businesses) don't always yet seem so caught up with such fine attention to detail and/or with state of the art systems, but hopefully such things will happen here in Chattanooga more and more as this little city tried to catch up with services we've enjoyed in Chicago, Denver, and ony occasionally with Atlanta (still the South...) That said, they still do an excellent job here, however. And better even now that Brett Smalley is here. =) Even though dealing with State Farm adjusters and home offices was difficult after our home was destroyed, I have to say in the end they were mostly fair, and from all the horror stories told by neighbors whose homes were destroyed, there were far less horror stories about State Farm's coverage and getting them to pay than many of the other major companies you hear about. It's just part of the territory, sadly it seems, with no matter who you go with. We can still say we are 100% happy with Brett Smalley's local office and their helpfulness and friendless and desire to accommodate."
